The Stage/Greenhouse
The Stage, revisits a natural hot springs in the mountains of Colorado called either Idaho or Indian Hot Springs, depending on which signage you happen upon. The green house enclosing the main mineral bath is lush and green, even during the snowy winters. The patrons encompass a range of parents, teens, and languid couples. The work emerged from the frequent experience of dissonance, and even collision, that occurs in the interventions of human desires when played out in nature.
